The Happiness Project
Who isn't curious about how we look on the inside? Find out from head to toe in the BODY WORLDS Amsterdam experience, an anatomical museum with a unique exhibition fo all ages. BODY WORLDS: The Hapiness Project tells the amazing story of our own body and how the 'happiness' phenomenon affects our brains and our health. The more than 200 anatomical specimens of real human bodies depict the complexity and resilience of our bodies, but also our vulnerability as people. This exhibition takes adults and children on a thrilling voyage of discovery through organs, muscles, bones and tendons, in search of what makes us happy and this affects our health. The free treasure hunt encourages children to look even more closely at the exhibits and learn all about health and happiness. The BODY WORLDS exhibitions are based on a donor programme and were established by the German anatomist Gunther von Hagen. His method of displaying human specimens for everyone to see caused a revolution and fundamentally changed the way people look at themselves. The exhibitions have already attracted over 40 million visitors worldwide. Book your tickets online for the best ticket rate!
