The Rijksmuseum (Museum of the State) is a Museum you should not miss during your stay in Amsterdam as it is one of the most breathtaking museums in the world. The museum is situated in a beautiful building, designed by Dutch architect P.J. Cuypers, and was recently re-opened after a major renovation. Situated at Museumplein, you can easily combine the Rijksmuseum with a visit to the Van Gogh Museum, Moco Museum or Stedelijk Museum.
