The Rembrandt House Museum
The place where this world-famous painter lived and worked
The Rembrandt House Museum not only holds a fine collection of Rembrandt's etchings, copper plates and drawings, but also gives visitors a complete Rembrandt experience. The museum is located in the fully restored house where Rembrandt used to live. In 1998 the house got a new modern wing built next to it. The interior was resotres to the style of Rembrandt's time so his paintings, etches, furniture and other objects would go together with the 17th-century interior.
